Continuing Professional Education
A primary objective of DAMC is to increase and develop the people who will be needed to apply advanced modeling, data-mining, services science and optimization approaches to industry and advanced research. This is accomplished by:
- Research and Industry Sabbaticals – A program of short-term sabbaticals allows researchers and industry practitioners to locate in DAMC to work on agreed projects.
- Short Courses – Short course programs are offered to general and industry-specific audiences as part of continuing professional education in industry-focused data analysis, modelling and computation.
- Workshops – DAMC provides an environment for research-focused and industry-focused workshops which aim to bring together inter-disciplinary groups to solve problems that involve aspects of data analysis, modelling and computation.
